Fate is indeed a very mysterious thing. Early last year, I was still single and never expected to meet someone so soon. I got to know her in June. Apparently, we studied in the same university. I am six years older than her but we had the same college life. We first started sending SMS to each other and then communicated with long emails. We could talk about anything under the sun. But two months later, she suddenly stopped communicating with me. Incidentally, I read her blog and found out she was still hurt from her last relationship, so I knew she was not ready for a new one.
I wanted to comfort her and thought of inviting her to go biking, one of my hobbies. When mid-autumn came soon, I planned a bike trip with her. We had a nice time at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Clement path that we oftenly went biking together after that. Perhaps it was the power of nature or sport that could make people happy, I saw her becoming happier each time.
We eventually got closer and closer. Sometimes I would pick her up from her office or we would cook on weekends. Finally, we were officially together in November.
Being together is wonderful. I feel grateful for the moments we share as we enjoy the life of being together. Thanks to be2 for helping us find our love.
